Lovely cottage with everything you need for a break whether it be a week or weekend – there was even scales in the kitchen for cooking/baking which I was most taken with. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and we settled in very quickly.
Owners are friendly and attentive, only a phone call or email away and a visitors guide is provided holding contact details for them and useful numbers including doctors surgery.
Lots to see and do but be aware that these are not right on your doorstep, which is perfect if you enjoy and make time for a long walk. Great walks can be found in all directions from the cottage and there are pubs to walk to such as the Kings Arms . We recommend this one due to great friendly staff. The Elm Tree Inn is also close but opening times are traditional so vary.
Would recommend doing a food shop on the way to the cottage depending what time you arrive or make a point of visiting one of the large supermarkets. Details of supermarkets and walks arw provided at the cottage in the visitors guide as well as a drawer full of ideas of places to visit.
