Lovely cosy warm cottage – exactly as advertised, as we expected and would happily recommend. Everything we could have wanted was available.
Bike ride to Abbotsbury – don’t go via the B road (as I’ve read is recommended) but turn left out of the farm and take the left signposted to the Swannery – it’s a lovely quiet road and an easy cycle. Also carry on past the Sub-tropical gardens and you can have a sit on Chisel Beach, a cuppa tea, brownie and re-energise for the cycle back.

We went to Tout Quarry Nature Reserve and Sculpture Park on Portland – wasn’t very impressed to be honest, but did enjoy a lovely walk from the car park along the coastal path to Portland Bill to overlook the lighthouse (about an hour each way).

Monkey World was brilliant and worth the money.
